Progress toward the completion of the Wayne & Bernie Andrews Reading and Innovation Center continues
As soon as school let out in late May, work began on the two rooms, with one of the largest initial feats being removing part of a dividing wall between the two rooms. The glass doors have been installed and look great! Painting is scheduled to begin in the coming week. New air conditioning and heating units have been installed in each room as well, and work on updating the lighting is also in progress.
Continued thanks to our director of maintenance Mr. Jay Sassman, volunteer facilitator Tom Fitzpatrick, and director of operations Mr. Dan Gaffney as they help lead the charge with contractors, ordering needs, and work crews to see this entire project through to completion.
