Storm Lake St. Mary's School

Drill Team
The drill team builds school spirit and loyalty, providing enjoyment and activity for students and spectators. Membership is open to any student enrolled at St. Mary’s High School who is passing all subjects and willing to commit the time and effort needed to develop a precision group. Tryouts are in the spring.

Cheerleading
The cheerleading squad promotes school spirit, encourages crowd participation and builds excitement for boys’ and girls’ athletic events and pep rallies in a respectful and enthusiastic manner. Each year’s cheer squad is chosen in the spring of the preceding year through tryouts, and the captain or co-captains are chosen by seniority.
